Job summary

Amcor Flexibles, LLC is seeking a CQE-enabled Lab/QC professional to support commissioning, qualification, and validation in the North America Analytical Services team. The role focuses on establishing robust measurement systems and process gauges for molded plastics, working across production and development teams.

Responsibilities include gauge development, MSA/Gage R&R, and training across sites; travel up to 25% is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent quality experience required; CQE preferred.
• CQE certification required or will be obtained.
• Strong organizational and communication skills with ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Computer skills include Minitab, Excel, Word, CPro, and SharePoint.
• Experience in statistical processes and auditing.
• Experience in plastic processing; injection molding, thermoforming, and blow molding preferred.
• ISO 9001/2000 experience preferred.
• Ability to travel up to 25% annually.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve an accurate measuring and testing system.
• Develop gauges and measurement techniques for molds during production and qualification.
• Assist and coordinate CQV processes on-site.
• Participate in product development as SME to ensure gauges and testing meet criteria.
• Provide customers with testing services and QA testing programs.
• Read product drawings to determine specs and locations.
• Perform Measurement System Analysis, Gauge R&R, and Correlation Studies.
• Investigate new measurement equipment technology.
• Train laboratory personnel in proper techniques.
• Travel to manufacturing sites for gauge setup and training.
