Job summary

Plaud Inc. in San Francisco is seeking a QA tester to ensure the quality of our web and mobile SaaS platform.

You will perform manual testing across features such as recording, transcription, subscription management, workspace governance, and billing, and collaborate with product and engineering to improve release quality. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of QA experience, writes clear bug reports, and helps build regression suites.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of QA experience with a strong manual testing focus.
• Ability to write clear, detailed bug reports and test cases.
• Experience testing web and mobile (iOS/Android) applications.
• Experience testing SaaS or subscription-based products preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform manual testing of new features and releases across Plaud Teams, Pricing flow, and Growth projects.
• Write clear, reproducible bug reports and track resolution with engineering
• Develop working knowledge of core user flows: recording, transcription, subscription management, workspace governance, and billing
• Contribute to test plans and regression suites ahead of releases
• Partner with PMs and engineers to define acceptance criteria before features ship
• Validate bug fixes and conduct regression testing

• Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Linear, or similar issue trackers
• Able to ramp up quickly and work independently with minimal onboarding

Compensation

$40-50/hr
