Job summary

Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems is seeking a professional engineer to provide quality support across multiple programs on the production floor. The role focuses on implementing comprehensive quality control programs and coordinating activities across Engineering, Manufacturing, and other functions.

The candidate should have strong analytical skills, experience with ISO/AS9100, and the ability to collaborate with DCMA, TECHREP, NSWC and MDA.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with Quality Management Systems such as ISO/AS9100.
• Proficiency with MS Excel: Data Analysis, Pivot Tables, Vlookup.
• Experience with Word and PowerPoint for reports and presentations.
• Ability to perform process surveillance and audits.
• Experience with quality control of military systems hardware and ship/site integration & test.
• Ability to collaborate with multiple customer partners including DCMA, TECHREP, NSWC and MDA.
• Strong organizational skills; able to balance multiple work centers.
• Willingness to travel and obtain a clearance after start (US Citizenship).

Responsibilities

• Provide quality support to multiple programs on the production floor.
• Promote and implement quality control programs for Manufacturing projects.
• Coordinate quality activities with Engineering, Manufacturing and other functions.
• Engage in product failure investigations and corrective/preventive actions.
• Develop strategies to improve internal and supplier performance and productivity.
• Perform product quality tests and statistical analysis of nonconforming items.
