Job Summary

We are looking for a driven Quality Assurance Engineer with a knack for technology and a keen eye for detail to ensure our products meet the highest standards. This role involves collaborating with both hardware and software teams to develop comprehensive test plans, execute test cases, and champion quality throughout the development cycle. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience in a consumer electronics testing environment, exhibit exceptional troubleshooting and communication skills, and be adept at both scripted and field testing.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with hardware and software teams to develop test plans and cases.
• Execute testing scenarios, report results, and advocate for quality at all development stages.
• Write, run, and refine test scripts in close collaboration with development teams.
• Isolate, document, regress, and track bugs through to resolution.
• Support system setup, live session troubleshooting, and ensure integrity of metrics reporting and documentation.
  
  

Must-Have Skills:

• Experience with Ubuntu
• Experience coding and scripting in Python
• Hands-on experience in testing Android-based devices
  
  

Industry Experience

Consumer Electronics testing in both lab and field environments, with familiarity in Unix/Ubuntu operating systems, and Jenkins build environment.
