Key Responsibilities:

  • Investigate and resolve supplier quality issues by analyzing defect trends and leading rapid Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) activities.
  • Support the execution of supply chain strategies that align with established Supplier Quality goals and objectives.
  • Partner with Category and Supplier Quality teams to support SCAR (Supplier Corrective Action Request), audit, FAI (First Article Inspection), change management, and risk management processes.
  • Conduct or support on-site or remote supplier visits to drive tactical improvements and ensure compliance with program expectations.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and supplier leadership during business reviews to analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), identify trends, and implement corrective measures.
  • Assist with the deployment of AS9145: APQP/PPAP processes across the supply base to mitigate risks and ensure consistency.
  • Contribute to Lean Six Sigma and continuous improvement initiatives within the supplier quality function.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in manufacturing quality, supplier quality, or a related engineering discipline.
  • Proficiency with best-in-class manufacturing principles, zero-defect strategies, and quality control methodologies.
  • Expert knowledge of 8D problem solving and root cause analysis techniques.
  • Strong verbal, written, and analytical communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams and suppliers.
  • Project management and stakeholder engagement skills in dynamic environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certified or experienced in Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Familiarity with AS9145: APQP/PPAP, AS9100, NADCAP, and special process requirements.
  • Working knowledge of IPC-A-600 or equivalent standards.
  • RCCA expertise and a strong background in driving supplier-related quality improvements.
