Job summary

Bombardier Learjet in Wichita, KS is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to join our manufacturing operations. You will perform quality management reviews, investigate issues, and work with engineering and production teams to ensure product integrity.

Qualifications

• 5 years of comparable work experience in aircraft manufacturing.
• Project management skills.
• Knowledge of quality management system.
• Change management skills.
• Experience in problem resolution techniques.
• Computer literate, specifically well versed in Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality management reviews (QMR), write reports, raise requests for internal/supplier action and follow up.
• Perform onsite internal and external customer technical investigations at the manufacturing site.
• Provide daily visibility on internal customer issues to quality and manufacturing team.
• Conduct technical investigations.
• Perform Root Cause Analysis.
• Establish containment plans in manufacturing (short term / long term).
• Conduct infrequent on‑site visits at the internal customer manufacturing sites.
