Job summary

Judge Group, Inc. is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer in Orlando, onsite, under a contract arrangement. The role focuses on developing and auditing quality standards for machined parts and ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.

You will perform evaluations of requirements and drawings, lead CAPA actions, and collaborate across program management, engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain to resolve issues and drive improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience as a Quality Engineer or Manufacturing Engineer in a machine-shop or precision-manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience with precision measurement equipment (CMM, laser trackers, surface plates, optical comparators) and SPC.
• Familiarity with GD&T, ASME Y14.5, and interpretation of engineering drawings.
• Working knowledge of quality management systems (AS9100, ISO-9001) and audit processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and audit quality standards, work instructions, and inspection procedures for machined parts.
• Perform technical evaluations of product requirements, specifications, drawings, and process documentation.
• Partner with program management, engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and customers to resolve quality issues and ensure compliance with standards.
• Lead failure investigations, MRB actions, and CAPA implementation to guarantee reliability and regulatory compliance.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to boost internal and supplier performance.
