Job summary

Acushnet Company is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Engineer to ensure conformance of materials and finished products to quality standards. You will work with suppliers, Manufacturing, and R&D to monitor quality, evaluate processes, and drive improvements.

Strong analytical and communication skills are essential. Qualifications include a Bachelor's in Chemistry or Engineering and 3+ years in Quality/Manufacturing Engineering, with knowledge of ISO 9001 and CQE/CQM/CSQP desirable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 3+ years of Quality Engineering and/or Manufacturing Engineering experience.
• Experience managing projects and driving quality improvement initiatives.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems preferred; CQE, CQM, CSQP desirable.
• Experience developing, implementing, and monitoring testing procedures, specifications, and quality controls.

In this role, you’ll work closely with suppliers, Manufacturing, and R&D teams to monitor quality performance, evaluate process capability, and drive continuous improvement initiatives throughout the manufacturing environment. You’ll support the development and implementation of testing procedures, sampling plans, and quality reporting systems while investigating quality issues and identifying root causes to improve product consistency and operational performance. This role requires someone who is comfortable working hands-on in manufacturing and supplier environments, analyzing quality data, supporting supplier qualification efforts, and contributing to the evaluation of new and substitute materials.
