SUMMARY:The Quality Engineer supports and continuously improves the effectiveness of the AS9100 Quality Management System. This role is responsible for driving root cause analysis, corrective actions, first article inspections, data analysis, and cross-functional quality improvement initiatives. The Quality Engineer works closely with Operations, Engineering, and Supply Chain while maintaining independence from production decision-making.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Applicant must have at least an Associate’s Degree from an accredited technical program or equivalent, or an equivalent level of work experience combined with applicable education
3-5 years’ experience in a quality role, a plus if in the aerospace or defense manufacturing space.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:Ability to speak and understand basic safety and manufacturing instructions.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers. Ability to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s.
REASONING ABILITY:Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:Authorization to work in the United States. To conform to U.S. export control regulations, you should be eligible for any required authorizations from the U.S. Government.
