Job summary

Vitesse Systems, located On-Site in Clinton, MA, is seeking a production-focused team member to assist with daily supervision tasks under the direction of the Production Manager. The role involves data handling, material movement, and coordination across shop floors to ensure smooth operations.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma (GED accepted) and 2 years of related experience, strong communication, and an ability to follow procedures with minimal supervision.

  • Pull charts from computer database for dip braze and age heat treat
  • Data entry in travelers for operations requiring oven charts
  • Review previous operations for proper physical sign offs and ERP sign offs
  • Move components and chassis between departments and operations
  • Move material from parking spots to machines
  • Scanning documentation into system
  • Assist with shipping, packing and receiving
  • Back up parts delivery driver as needed
  • Forklift operator as needed
  • Uphold the company core values.
  • Other duties as assigned.

SUMMARY:
This position will assist with daily needs of production supervisor, machine shop supervisor and quality supervisor by direction of the production manager.

EDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCE
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • 2 years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to speak and understand basic safety and manufacturing instructions.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers. Ability to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Authorization to work in the United States. To conform to U.S. export control regulations, you should be eligible for any required authorizations from the U.S. Government.
