The ideal candidate will have a strong background in precision machining, complex assemblies, and hard metals (e.g., titanium, Inconel, stainless steels), with the ability to partner closely with engineering, operations, and customers to maintain world-class quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance processes to ensure compliance with AS9100, ISO9001, and customer requirements.
  • Support First Article Inspections (FAI) per AS9102 and customer specifications.
  • Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to eliminate recurrence of quality issues.
  • Perform internal audits and support external customer/regulatory audits.
  • Collaborate with engineering and operations to develop process controls, inspection plans, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Review and approve manufacturing documentation, test results, and inspection reports.
  • Manage nonconformance reports (NCRs), material review board (MRB) activities, and support disposition decisions.
  • Monitor quality performance metrics, identify trends, and recommend improvement initiatives.
  • Partner with suppliers to resolve quality issues and ensure incoming materials meet requirements.
  • Train and mentor production and inspection staff on quality standards and best practices.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
  • 3+ years of experience in quality engineering, ideally within aerospace and defense manufacturing.
  • Strong knowledge of AS9100, ISO9001, and industry regulations (ITAR, NADCAP a plus).
  • Experience with FAI (AS9102), GD&T, and precision machining processes.
  • Skilled in using quality tools: root cause analysis, FMEA, PPAP, SPC, MSA, and control plans.
  • Proficient with metrology equipment, CMMs, and other precision inspection tools.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
  • US Citizenship or Permanent Residency required (due to ITAR compliance).
Why Join Us:

  • Contribute to mission-critical projects with top-tier customers.
  • Collaborative, high-performance culture with opportunities for growth.
  • Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits.
