Job summary

NRG Energy is seeking a Quality Assurance and EHS leader to drive the plant's quality systems, safety programs, and environmental performance. You will oversee audits, calibrations, NCRs/RCA, and supplier quality reviews while aligning with OSHA/EPA regulations.

In this role you will lead cross-functional teams, develop data-driven quality reporting, and mentor staff to uphold compliance and continuous improvement across manufacturing operations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Quality Assurance for manufacturing or product environments.
• 5+ years managing QA/QC systems and audits (ISO etc.).
• Experience with supplier quality reviews and RCA/NCAR processes.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA/EPA regulations and calibration oversight.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead QA/QC programs, ISO audits, and calibration oversight.
• Manage NCRs/RCA processes and ensure corrective actions prevent recurrence.
• Oversee traveler inspections, data collection, and KPI reporting.
• Develop quality documentation, data sheets, and maintenance instructions.
• Lead safety audits, incidents investigations, and track safety metrics.
• Drive Lean Six Sigma-based improvements across manufacturing and suppliers.
