Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services is seeking a Quality Assurance professional to operate in the laboratory, ensuring compliance with GMP, CFR, and Takeda policies while performing QA activities. You will review reports, document QC actions, and participate in corrective actions and SOP validation, contributing to safe, effective plasma testing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a biomedical discipline (Chemical, physical, biological, clinical lab science, or medical technology) or Associate degree in laboratory science/medical laboratory technology.
• MT/MLT certification from ASCP or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of two years' experience in a professional or technical capacity in laboratory services, blood services, quality, or pharmaceutical manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Review testing, quality control, and other reports for accuracy and compliance with cGMP to ensure quality before release from QA.
• Maintain familiarity with lab operating and QA/QC procedures and quality system processes.
• Document all QC activities, instrument/calibration/maintenance.
• Identify problems affecting test performance and notify management; follow corrective action policies.
