🚀 Position Overview

The Compliance & Training Specialist / Quality Assurance Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring Augustine Angels meets all state and federal program requirements while maintaining the highest standards of quality care. This part-time position oversees staff onboarding, training, documentation, and quality monitoring for statewide PAS operations.

This role is remote and flexible, ideal for an experienced professional seeking a meaningful part-time position with the potential to grow into full-time as the program expands.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee onboarding, credentialing, and background checks for new hires.
  • Develop, schedule, and track initial and annual staff training (participant rights, emergency procedures, HIPAA, etc.).
  • Maintain organized compliance and personnel files in accordance with Delaware DHSS standards.
  • Conduct quarterly quality assurance reviews and participant satisfaction surveys.
  • Audit service records, timesheets, and incident reports for completeness and accuracy.
  • Investigate participant complaints and coordinate corrective actions as needed.
  • Support the Project Manager with compliance reporting and DHSS audits.
Qualifications
  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred (Human Services, Healthcare Admin, or related field).
  • 2+ years of experience in compliance, quality assurance, or staff training (home care or healthcare preferred).
  • Strong organizational and recordkeeping skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Must pass a background check per Delaware DHSS requirements.
