Job summary

GKN Aerospace is seeking a Quality Auditor to act as a site business partner for manufacturing process managers and leadership, ensuring quality performance and compliance. You will plan and host audits, report non-conformities, and drive continual improvement across processes and products committed to meeting customer expectations.

This role requires a technical degree or equivalent experience, knowledge of quality standards, and proficiency with MS Office and SAP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field is preferred or five years or more experience in the quality field.
• Working knowledge of manufacturing processes, test methods and statistics.
• Experience with manufacturing standards and manufacturing process control techniques.
• American Society for Quality Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) certification is highly desired
• Experience with MS Office
• SAP experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Planning, organizing, coordinating, controlling and managing quality system pre-assessments.
• Audit inspection methods and techniques; initiate corrective and preventive action plans.
• Interface with internal and external customers and suppliers; determine performance measures; lead special projects.
• Be familiar with destructive and non-destructive testing; verify material characteristics
