Job summary

Uline is seeking a Quality Assurance Automation Engineer for its Internet team in Pleasant Prairie, WI. You will design and implement Playwright-driven test automation for web, API, and mobile apps to ensure high-quality software and performance.

You’ll work with developers to troubleshoot, define testing best practices, and integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines, with a focus on reliability and feedback. A strong JS/TS background and 4+ years in QA automation are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT/CS or related field.
• 4+ years scripting in QA automation with 2+ years using Playwright.
• Proficient in JavaScript and TypeScript development.
• Basic SQL, API testing, and Git knowledge; Agile mindset.
• Experience with Azure DevOps or similar test management tool.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain automated test frameworks for web, API and mobile apps with Playwright.
• Collaborate with teams to define best practices and create test cases.

Position Responsibilities

• Build and maintain automated test frameworks for web, API and mobile applications using Playwright.
• Work with teams to define best practices and create test cases that improve reliability and performance.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing and feedback.
• Execute and track automated and manual tests, working with developers to troubleshoot issues.
• Document and communicate automation frameworks and test results, providing actionable recommendations based on findings.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
• 4+ years of scripting in QA Automation Engineering with 2+ years of experience with Playwright.
• Experience programming with a modern language such as JavaScript and Typescript.
• Foundational understanding of SQL, API testing, GIT and Agile.
• Experience with Azure DevOps or similar test management tool.
