Job Summary

LexiCode, an Exela brand, is a leading provider of HIM coding and consulting services nationwide with over 35 years of experience. We are seeking a Quality Assurance Auditor, Outpatient all record types to work remotely. The position offers a pay range of $36.00-$45.00 per hour, with potential bonuses and comprehensive benefits.

Responsibilities
  1. Review medical records and Profee codes assigned by coders, providing feedback and corrections as needed.
  2. Meet productivity and accuracy expectations.
Qualifications
  • RHIA, RHIT, CCS, or CCS-P credential from AHIMA; CPC, COC or CIC from AAPC.
  • At least 3 years of recent Pro Fee coding experience.
  • Proficiency in coding within the specialty area; coding test will be administered.
  • Ability to work from home with high-speed internet and necessary equipment.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with EMR, multiple encoders, and abstracting systems.
