Job summary

The Simplot Company is seeking a quality-focused professional for the Ontario GF Plant to ensure rigorous evaluation of quality attributes across the facility. The role maintains an integrated grading program, including upstream, sensory, and finished product grading, aligning with customer, regulatory, and company standards.

You will audit, train, and define product grading policies and participate in the development of factory quality systems, while supporting safety, sanitation, and GMP

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must obtain Sensory Grading Certification within 2 months.
• Ability to work 6:00pm-6:00am shift.

Responsibilities

• Manage operator and technician proficiency program.
• Maintain communication with team members and support groups.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, GMPs and company policies.
• Evaluate samples prior to shipment and as needed.
• Conduct product grading, sensory evaluation and analytical training for staff.
• Investigate customer complaints and determine corrective actions.
