Job summary

Burst House is seeking a Quality Associate for a 2nd shift to perform independent audits and inspections of testing operations for air-cooled products. You will verify leak checks and burst tests, ensure data integrity and traceability, and document non-conformances in the quality management system.

You will partner with cross-functional teams to drive root cause analyses and corrective actions, report daily results, and enforce ISO 9001 standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 2+ years of experience in manufacturing, quality control, or inspection.
• Experience in a technical field is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects and non-conformities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Ability to lift and move materials up to 35 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for long periods.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform independent audits and inspections of Burst House testing operations for Air Cooled products, including helium and leak testing.
• Verify proper execution of leak checks, burst tests, and post-test inspections per work instructions and specs.
• Conduct two-layer verification of critical quality checks and record test results and dispositions accurately.
• Audit test area readiness, calibration, safety interlocks, fixtures, and standardized work adherence.
• Identify, document, and escalate non-conformances and process deviations in the QMS.
• Ensure traceability and data integrity for Burst House testing and re-test requirements.
• Capture and upload traceability photos and audit evidence for audited units.
• Monitor containment activities related to failures and components affecting tests.
• Collaborate with Operations, Manufacturing Engineering, and Quality Engineering to communicate findings and drive corrective actions.
