Job summary

Randstad USA is hiring quality assurance associates to support production on short-term mandates in Summerville, SC. The role focuses on visual checks, documentation, and accurate defect segregation.

Candidates will fill simple QC logs, collect samples for testing, and raise quality issues to operators or supervisors as they arise. Shifts run 7:30 PM–7:00 AM to fit scheduling needs.

Responsibilities

• Collect samples for testing by senior staff at specified intervals.
• Communicate quality issues to the production operator or supervisor promptly.

Your responsibilities:

• Perform continuous visual checks on products coming off the line, identifying surface flaws, defects, or missing components based on clear visual standards.
• Sort accepted components from rejected materials, ensuring the accurate segregation of non-conforming items.
• Accurately fill out simple qc logs and inspection checklists to record findings hourly or batch-by-batch.
• Collect samples of materials or components at specified intervals for further testing by senior staff.
• Communicate immediately with the production operator or supervisor when recurring quality issues are detected.
