As a Quality Assurance Specialist , you will conduct quality reviews of the various functional areas and identify trends or issues that are occurring, always focusing on continual improvement. Qualified candidates will bring forward innovative strategies for continuous quality improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate an ability to learn and understand the processes for all functional areas to perform quality reviews across all functional areas.

  • Conduct objective, concise quality assessments, including, but not limited to, quality checks on IHC assessments, LOCET calls, CMS screenings, and administrative duties.

  • Meet the productivity standards for each functional area defined by the Client contract.

  • Maintain a strong understanding of all functional areas and provide expert knowledge of the program and functional areas.

  • Update the quality monitoring data management system to compile and track assessment information.

  • Assist in implementing and maintaining quality processes, practices, and measures for front-line assurance activities and increasing awareness of quality controls.

  • Perform administration tasks as needed by the business and to support key objectives of the Quality Team.

  • Contribute toward the improvement of current processes.

  • Any other assigned duties related to Louisiana Long Term Support Services.

Requirements

  • Have experience in government services to consumers, particularly health and human services.

  • Ability to use MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook.

  • Ability to work independently and demonstrate a high level of confidentiality regarding Quality assessments.

  • Complete the training and certification using the IHC conducted by the Office of Aging and Adult Services, OAAS, in Louisiana.

  • At least one (1) year of experience in the human services field.

Preferred

  • A college degree in health care or social services.

Experience in the following fields will be considered: Quality Assurance, Quality Improvement, Human Services, Case Management, Social Work, and Auditing

In addition to base pay, this position, based on business need, may be eligible for a bonus or incentive. The estimated salary range for this role is $15.35-$19.18.
