Job summary

The Hire Solution is seeking a Quality Assurance Associate to assist the Quality Manager with daily inspection activities and to help maintain AS9100-based quality records. The role involves supporting first article reports, test documentation, and process improvements across mechanical and electrical components.

The ideal candidate has a BA/BS in Engineering, 2 years of related experience, and strong math/analytical skills. GD&T proficiency and familiarity with ISO 9001/AS9100C are required.

Qualifications

• BA/ BS in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical) is required.
• Knowledge/ experience with Quality Systems (ISO9001/AS9100C).
• Advanced mathematical and analytical skills.
• Fast and enthusiastic learner.
• 2 years experience in related field.

Responsibilities

• Assist in creation of First Article Reports and other customer deliverables.
• Support development and realization of improvement projects.
• Maintain Quality System in accordance with AS9100 standard.
• Assist production with technical needs for electrical and mechanical measurement units.
• Test new products and prepare inspection/test reports for customers.
• Visually inspect parts for cosmetic defects.
• Test functionality of parts or products.
• Use measuring equipment (calipers, micrometer, optical) to verify specs.
• Read and follow blueprints and schematics to determine specs.

Education

BA/ BS in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical)

GD&T proficiency
