Role Overview

We’re seeking a sharp, detail-oriented Quality Assurance Associate to help us deliver rock-solid, clinic-ready software for our next-generation neuromodulation device. In this role, you’ll be responsible for manually testing our Android app, website, and TMS medical device, ensuring every feature is stable, every workflow is seamless, and every bug is caught before it reaches the clinic. You’ll test our apps across multiple platforms, confirm interaction with our hardware device, report bugs, and help us ship high-quality builds every day.

This is a great opportunity for someone early in their career who is meticulous, eager to learn, and wants to make a difference in the mental health space.

Tech Stack
  • Frontend: React, React Native, Android
  • Backend: Python, Node.js
  • Database: PostgreSQL
  • Cloud: AWS (ECS, CDK, Glue, Firehose, EventBridge)
  • Hardware: Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) medical device
Key Responsibilities
  • Test the Android app, web platform, and TMS device for functionality, regressions, and overall stability

  • Re-test resolved issues and confirm successful fixes
  • Maintain and update lightweight test plans and checklists
  • Identify and communicate edge cases, corner conditions, and failure scenarios to the team
What We’re Looking For
  • Attention to Detail: You spot inconsistencies and edge cases others miss
  • Persistence: You can execute repetitive tests without losing focus
  • Clear Communicator: You can write bugs and explain repro steps concisely
  • Curiosity: You want to understand how the app, hardware, and workflows fit together
  • Reliability: You take ownership of your work and follow through
  • Experience: No formal QA experience required—just solid follow-through and basic tech comfort
