What You’ll Do
  • Create and execute basic test scripts and predefined manual tests for assigned products/projects.
  • Identify, document, and track defects using the defect tracking system.
  • Participate in daily stand-up meetings with your product line team.
  • Present live software demonstrations to your assigned product team.
  • Travel to client sites as needed to test software in their environment.
  • Ensure solutions meet high standards of accuracy, reliability, and user satisfaction.
Security and Privacy Duties and Responsibilities
  • Individuals working for DSS will be subject to security and privacy requirements as explained in HIPAA, FedRAMP, and NIST 800-53. They are required to undergo specific FedRAMP training to ensure compliance with all associated controls and responsibilities. Individuals in high-risk departments will undergo advanced training based on their role and access. Individuals with data and configuration modification access will require further training.

What You Bring
  • Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Understanding of testing types, including Unit, Functional, Integration, Regression, and Acceptance Testing.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and document software defects.
  • Strong time management, prioritization, and attention to detail.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Aptitude for understanding technical processes.
  • Effective collaboration with other departments and management.
Preferred
  • Experience with Quality Assurance software testing tools.
  • Familiarity with qTest, Jira, and Confluence.
  • Experience working in Agile Development environments.
  • Knowledge of GUI applications, including clinical software applications.
  • Understanding of CPRS (Computerized Patient Record System).

  • High School or equivalent, AS, AA degree or equivalent combination of work experience and/or education
  • 1+ years' experience in a similar role or related position
Desired
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Information, Health Information, or related field
