Anchor Coupling Inc., a wholly-owned Caterpillar Inc. subsidiary, is seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst. You will evaluate customer returns, determine root cause, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

Responsibilities include reviewing control plans and FMEAs, performing quality audits, and supporting NPI and CPI initiatives. The role requires the ability to read blueprints, strong written communication, and the capacity to work independently with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Must read and interpret blueprints.
• Excellent written communication is required.
• Ability to work independently and make judgement decisions.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers, vendors and other employees.
• Customer specs, SPC data, calibration records, and quality data are used to drive decisions.

Responsibilities

• Review control plans and FMEAs.
• Lead quality escalation presentations and report findings.
• Ensure RCCA to meet customer expectations.
• Work safely and follow safety regulations.
• Suggest improvements to processes, productivity, and job safety.
• Perform other duties as directed by supervisor and team.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on NPI and CPI projects.
• Maintain good working relationships within the organization.

As a Quality Assurance Analyst at Anchor Coupling Inc. (a wholly-owned subsidiary of Caterpillar Inc.), you will work with QA Manager to evaluate customer returns and determine root cause/correction action to resolve and prevent future occurrences. Ensures compliance to the quality systems program by analyzing and solving quality problems, preparing inspection plans and instruction, selecting sampling plan applications, preparing procedures, performing quality audits, analyzing quality costs and other quality data, and applying fundamental statistical methods for process control. Will participate in cross-functional teams involved in NPI (New Product Introduction) and CPI (Continuous Product Improvement) projects. Will act as representative from the quality department on APQP/PPAP issues.

Job Duties/Responsibilities

• Ensure control plans and FMEA’s are being reviewed
• Starts the quality escalation presentation for quality projects and populates the information received.
• Ensure RCCA so products being built meet customer expectations.
• Work safely at ALL times and comply with safety regulations regarding the use of protective equipment and devices.
• Offer suggestions relative to improving work process, procedures, productivity, job safety or work environment.
• Perform other miscellaneous job duties and related functions as directed by Manager supervisor or other designated person.
• Perform as a team member with the willingness and attitude to work with others to resolve problems.
• Must also maintain a good working relationship with others within the organization.

Basic Qualifications

• Must have the ability to read and interpret documents such as blueprints
• Previous quality experience or education

Summary Pay Range: $23.00 - $29.90
