Michigan Farm Bureau seeks a Quality Assurance Analyst to ensure the quality, feasibility, and reliability of software used by internal and external customers. You will design, develop, test, and maintain test strategies, plans, and cases, and contribute to automated testing efforts.
Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and customers to understand requirements, review design documents, and manage defects and timelines.
To be responsible for the quality, technical feasibility, and reliability of software and systems that are utilized by internal and external customers. To provide quality assurance expertise and direction on the functionality and usability of software and systems. To work closely with business analysts, software developers, and customers to understand business requirements. To design, develop, test, execute, and maintain test strategies, plans, and cases. To understand and execute automated testing scripts. To execute defect management, providing feedback, reporting defects, and projecting timelines for completion.
Participate in requirements gathering sessions, providing analysis and direction on testability from an assurance perspective, ensuring feasibility and quality releases. Review and comprehend requirements, specifications, and technical design documents.
Provide estimates, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities. Communicate priority, plan, and risks to management, stakeholders, and project team members.
Design, create, and execute test strategies, plans, and cases. Analyze software and system components, to identify discrepancies, defects, risks, and improvement areas. Comprehend and execute automated test scripts.
