Our client seeks a Quality Assurance Analyst to develop and execute test plans, improve coverage with AI-assisted techniques, and support a fast-paced QA organization across multiple concurrent projects. The role requires strong manual testing skills, basic-to-intermediate SQL, and comfort applying Generative AI to test design, data creation, and documentation. Property and Casualty insurance knowledge is preferred and will support faster ramp-up.

Rate: $50.00 to $55.00/hr. w2
Responsibilities:
- Develop, document, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on requirements and specifications.
- Participate in requirements reviews and provide quality input early in the software development lifecycle.
- Plan test schedules and strategies aligned to scope and timelines.
- Schedule and facilitate test plan reviews with project managers, business analysts, and UAT leads.
- Document test cases, results, and defects using OpenText Quality Center/ALM.
- Create and manage test data, including data for automated testing where applicable.
- Leverage Generative AI tools to design tests, generate scenarios, create data, and accelerate documentation while validating outputs for accuracy.
- Identify opportunities to apply AI-assisted testing techniques to improve coverage, productivity, and quality.
- Report project quality and release readiness using standard testing processes and status templates.
- Collaborate with developers, project managers, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure quality standards are met.
- Support UAT with test artifacts, data, and knowledge transfer.
- Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, security requirements, and applicable regulations and standards.
- Evaluate emerging QA tools, automation capabilities, and AI technologies to recommend improvements and best practices.
Experience Requirements:
- 3–10 years of software testing and/or Property and Casualty insurance experience.
- Experience with OpenText Quality Center/ALM for requirements, test, and defect management.
- Data testing experience, including SQL and working with XML and structured data.
- Hands-on use of Generative AI tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot or similar) for test case generation, test data creation, documentation, and productivity.
- Understanding of AI-assisted testing concepts and ability to validate AI-generated artifacts.
- Familiarity with test automation frameworks and AI-enhanced testing tools is a plus.
- Exposure to Property and Casualty insurance preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication and facilitation skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams and projects.
- Self-starter with negotiation, conflict resolution, and influencing skills.
- Continuous improvement mindset and interest in emerging technologies for QA.
