Job summary

Eliassen Group seeks a Quality Assurance Test Lead to oversee a manual test team and ensure high-quality web and mobile applications post-production release. The role requires leadership of QA activities, hands-on front-end testing, cross-functional coordination, and clear defect documentation with executive‑level communication.

The Test Lead will drive automation and AI‑assisted testing, formalize test plans, and ensure timely resolution of issues with a strong emphasis on product functionality

Qualifications

• 7-10+ years of manual and automated testing with front-end UI testing.
• Proven ability to present to executive audiences.
• Hands-on front-end testing expertise.
• Willingness to learn and apply AI tools with automation.
• Strong understanding of product functionality and user experience.
• Experience creating and executing formal test plans.
• Team leadership with delegation, training, and motivation.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Quality Manual Test Team to discover and document defects for web and mobile applications in production.
• Develop and execute formal test plans and test cases using recommended platforms and tools.
• Coordinate testing activities across teams and communicate status, risks, and issues to stakeholders, including executives.
• Drive defect management, triage, and resolution with timely follow-up and clear documentation.
• Mentor testers through delegation, training, and motivation.
• Advocate for user experience and intended product functionality throughout testing.
• Leverage automation frameworks and AI tools to enhance test coverage and efficiency.
• Support SDLC activities including design reviews, debugging, and maintenance for front-end, web, and mobile apps.

Our client seeks a Quality Assurance Test Lead to oversee a manual test team and ensure high-quality web and mobile applications post-production release. The role requires leadership of QA activities, hands‑on front‑end manual testing, coordination with cross‑functional teams, clear documentation of defects, and executive‑ready communication. The Test Lead will guide use of automation and AI‑assisted testing, formalize test planning, and drive timely resolution of issues with strong product and user experience awareness.

Rate: $50.00 to $55.00/hr. w2

Responsibilities:

• Lead the Quality Manual Test Team to discover, reproduce, and document defects for web and mobile applications in production.
• Develop and execute formal test plans and test cases using recommended test platforms and tools.
• Coordinate testing activities across teams and communicate status, risks, and issues to stakeholders, including executives.
• Drive defect management, triage, and resolution with timely follow-up and clear documentation.
• Guide and mentor testers through effective delegation, training, and motivation.
• Advocate for user experience and intended product functionality throughout the testing lifecycle.
• Leverage automation frameworks and AI tools to enhance test coverage and efficiency.
• Support SDLC activities including design reviews, debugging, and maintenance collaboration for front-end, web, and mobile applications.

Experience Requirements:

• 7-10+ years of manual and automated testing with front‑end UI testing for web portals and/or mobile apps.
• Proven ability to present to executive audiences.
• Hands‑on manual front‑end testing expertise.
• Willingness to learn and apply AI tools alongside automation.
• Keen understanding of product functionality and user experience.
• Experience creating and executing formal test plans.
• Team leadership with delegation, training, and motivation capabilities.
• Effective cross‑group communication with timely issue resolution.
• Preferred tools: Cucumber, Figma, Sauce Labs, Mono Repo, Qmetry.
• Preferred AI tools: Kiro, Claude, GPT.
• Preferred defect management: JIRA.
• Working knowledge of SDLC for front‑end, web, and mobile applications.
• Local to Englewood, CO with ability to work 4 days on-site.
• Comfort with scheduled mandatory time off/furlough dates.
