Qualifications

  • At least 3 years in Quality Assurance or related field.
  • Experience with software testing and test automation.
  • Experience with Agile SDLC processes.
  • Strong QA and SQA principles.
  • SQL skills to query/test data.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct software testing to identify and resolve defects.
  • Develop, document, and execute test plans and test cases.
  • Perform Manual Smoke, Sanity, Regression, and UAT.
  • Build and maintain automated tests with Selenium or Playwright.
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure quality standards.
  • Provide testing progress updates, reports, and recommendations.
  • Identify risks that may impact product quality.
  • Create and maintain test data as needed.
  • Work within Agile methodologies and participate in Agile ceremonies.
  • Mentor and coach other QA engineers on automation testing.

Job Summary

The Quality Assurance Engineer is responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of software products through rigorous testing and quality assurance processes. This role requires a strong foundation in manual and automated testing, collaboration with development teams, and a commitment to delivering high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct software testing to identify, document, and resolve defects.
  • Develop, document, and execute test plans, test cases, and testing strategies.
  • Perform Manual Smoke, Sanity, Regression, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Build, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium or Playwright.
  • Collaborate with development teams and stakeholders to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Perform Software Quality Assurance (SQA) activities and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Provide testing progress updates, reports, and recommendations.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate risks that may impact product quality.
  • Create and maintain test data as needed.
  • Work within Agile development methodologies and participate in Agile ceremonies.
  • Foster a collaborative and productive quality assurance environment.
  • Mentor and coach other QA engineers on automation testing best practices.
Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Quality Assurance or a related field.
  • Experience with software testing and test automation.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes.
  • Strong understanding of Quality Assurance (QA) and Software Quality Assurance (SQA) principles.
  • Medium-level SQL skills, including the ability to query, create, and maintain test data.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.

Preferred

  • Master's degree in Information Technology or a related field.
  • Certified Software Quality Engineer (CSQE) or equivalent certification.
