Job summary

GMT International is seeking a quality assurance professional to ensure products meet requirements and to monitor documentation and testing activities. The role involves maintaining QMS compliance, testing materials, and addressing non-conformities with precise record-keeping.

The candidate will compile 3.1 certificates, oversee calibration and performance of measurement tools, and participate in cross-training to strengthen quality processes across the organization.

Qualifications

  • Minimum: High school diploma
  • Preferably: technical degree
  • Two (2) years experience in quality in a manufacturing company
  • Very experienced with data manipulation in Excel
  • Knowledge and comprehension of quality standards
  • A keen eye for detail and result driven approach
  • Experienced in handling quality measurement tools and equipment

Responsibilities

  • Compile electronic documents for 3.1 certificates
  • Ensure the quality standards established by the QMS are upheld
  • Inspecting and testing the material and products manufactured by the company
  • Identification and handling of non-conforming products
  • Monitor and ensure quality control measurement tools and equipment are in good condition
  • Recommend replacement for control measurement tools or suggest investment in new equipment
  • Maintain and file records of testing, other forms, and information in accordance with the QMS
  • Perform test lab orders
  • Other Quality duties related to cross training

OVERVIEW:
  • Ensure that the manufactured product meets all requirements
  • Monitor completed documents from production, suppliers, and raw materials to ensure completeness
  • Use tools and equipment specified in QMS System and conduct tests, analyzing measurements of material and products and decide their conformity / non-conformity
RESPONSIBILITIES AND AUTHORITIES:

Requirements
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
