Job summary

PowerToFly is seeking a frontline quality support technician who improves product quality by collecting and analyzing measurement data. You will work with manufacturing and quality teams to ensure operators follow processes and that parts meet specifications.

Responsibilities include conducting dimensional checks, reporting inspection results, and supporting system documentation. A strong emphasis on safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement is essential.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and multi-team collaboration to resolve quality issues.
• Adheres to safety guidelines and procedures to maintain a safe workplace.
• Experience in manufacturing quality or related environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serves as line and floor support for product quality questions and monitoring.
• Performs cleanliness checks and reports results.
• Works with engineers to assess situations when parts are out of specification.
• Creates setups and performs dimensional checks with precision measuring equipment.
• Screens for supplier part defects and reworks components to maintain production quality.
• Interfaces with measurement lab to verify nonconformance of components.
• Performs audits for defects and documents findings.
• Collaborates with various teams to resolve defects and drive improvements.
• Collects engine serial number information to support improvement activities.
• Performs repairs on-line and documents repairs in the system.
• Performs teardowns and data collection to analyze component condition.
• Follows all PPE and safety policies; participates in training and development.
