Job summary

Qualifications

• A thorough understanding of the hazard communication program.
• Total understanding of the shop packets released to the shop floor.
• Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Understand and follow all company policies and procedures.
• Ensure guards and safety equipment are installed and checked.
• Meet or exceed production standards while maintaining quality.
• Load and unload machinery with proper tooling as directed by team leader or supervisor.
• Maintain housekeeping and safe working environment throughout the department.
• Read and interpret blueprints as required by operation.
• Adhere to ISO 9001 Quality, ISO 14001 Environmental, and OSHAS 18001 certification requirements.
