Job summary

MUSC Health is seeking a Quality and Safety Coordinator to support the Pediatric Quality Program within QAPI for CHW ICCE. You will collect, analyze, and disseminate quality data; benchmark performance, and lead multidisciplinary teams to improve outcomes in alignment with MUSC's standards.

The role requires a nursing degree with extensive pediatric quality experience, strong communication, and collaboration across disciplines. Regular on-site duties apply within the CHS Quality QAPI area.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited school.
  • Five years’ RN experience in Pediatric-focused area; or master’s in nursing/clinical field with healthcare quality focus.
  • Strong knowledge in quality and performance improvement; PI programs and processes.

Job Description

Additional Job Description

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing with a minimum of five years’ work experience as a Registered Nurse in a Pediatric-focused area and/or a master's degree in nursing or other clinical field and 2 years of healthcare experience with strong knowledge in quality and performance improvement. Experience in Performance Improvement (PI) programs and processes; ability to utilize data for program analysis; demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal and customer service skills; ability to collaboratively work with all disciplines.
