Job summary

EDP Renewables is seeking a Quality Associate to join our Health, Safety and Quality team in Houston. You will drive a Quality culture, gather data, perform audits, and track metrics to drive continuous improvement across sites using tools like Excel and Power BI.

The role requires a engineering degree, 3+ years in Quality, and strong MS Office and analytical skills. You will support digitization of checklists, SOPs, and QA processes while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Must have a degree in Engineering or related discipline.
• Must be proficient with MS Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• 3+ years of relevant experience in Quality.
• Understanding of Microsoft products and/or complementing products preferred.

Responsibilities

• Be an advocate for Quality, driving a strong and committed Quality culture throughout the organization.
• Assist with Historical Quality Data Processing and Reporting to help define trends / focus areas.
• Assist with review and communicate ImPaQ (Quality Management System) cases.
• Assist with the Quality Assessment program, leading the effort to collaborate with sites, monitor progress and troubleshoot any issues.
• Assist with digitizing operational checklists/documents and provide troubleshooting support to field teams.
• Support the development, validation, and documentation of new quality control checklists in Excel and Resco.
• Contribute in the development and publication of standard operating procedures based on process flow charts.
• Support the development and testing new performance metrics in Power BI.
• Assist the development team in the testing and documentation of new software interfaces and BOT.
• Additional duties may be required.

What you will do

Role Overview:

The Quality Associate will work with the Health, Safety and Quality department, leading the effort to promote a Quality culture within EDP leveraging the systems in place to gather data, conduct quality audits, and track progress of metrics to completion.

What are we looking for

• Must have a degree in Engineering or related discipline
• Must be proficient with MS Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• 3+ years of relevant experience in Quality
• Understanding of Microsoft products and/or complementing products preferred.
