Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Experience in quality control within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Basic understanding of Statistical Process Control (SPC).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Excellent time-management and organizational skills.
• Proficient computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to work rotating 12-hour shifts and overtime as needed.
• Basic understanding of raw material identification and manufacturing processes.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities.
• Basic knowledge of equipment operation and material flow within manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Monitor production to ensure products meet dimensional and visual specifications.
• Use Gainseeker and data systems for collection, analysis, and record control.
• Perform inspections and testing, including metallurgical and product testing.
• Operate precision measuring equipment (micrometers, gauges, balances).
• Review prints and specifications and ensure adherence to standards.
• Identify and reject nonconforming materials.
• Document inspection results clearly and accurately.
• Assist gauge calibration and report repair needs.
• Help train employees on data collection and quality procedures.
• Direct quality projects with minimal supervision.
• Communicate out-of-spec conditions to mechanics and supervisors.
