Bracco Medical Technologies is seeking a Quality Analyst Intern (Software) to support development compliance within a regulated environment. You will engage with the Quality System, contribute to risk analyses, and learn FDA-aligned software practices across project lifecycles, PLM concepts, and test traceability.

The internship offers exposure to multiple quality processes, reports, and cross-functional collaboration, with a May 2027 start and a 40-hour work week in Eden Prairie, MN.

Qualifications

• Interdisciplinary role; undergraduate pursuing a bachelor’s degree in biology, accounting, business, biomedical, computer sciences.
• Other fields would be considered.

Responsibilities

• Complete reviews on technical reports, test protocols, and documents related to software development.
• Review and analyze risk assessments to determine probability of injury, data loss, etc.
• Compile review summaries and provide peer feedback on others’ work.

We are currently seeking an intern to learn and engage in a variety of hands‑on projects alongside our Quality team.

Position Summary

The Quality Analyst Intern (Software) will report to a Quality Analyst, working in the focused area of software development compliance. This will cover key development and testing requirements that need to be met in a regulated environment. You will also be exposed to working with different elements of the Quality System at Bracco Medical Technologies (BMT). This will involve equipment, methods and concepts within the industry. This role will provide the opportunity to develop knowledge and gain experience for future Quality careers, including building your professional network.

Training to be provided/You will develop knowledge and experience

• Quality Concepts
• Interpretation of SOPs
• Aspects of project lifecycle management processes, and navigating a PLM system
• Interpretation of key quality elements followed in product development
• Requirements management, Test case traceability, Risk analysis
• Enhancing product reliability and performance.
• Software development standards, regulations, and engineering practices that meet FDA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Complete reviews on technical reports, test protocols, assorted documents related to software development
• Review and analyze risk assessments to determine probability of injury, data loss, etc.
• Compile review summaries
• Provide peer review / feedback on others’ work efforts
• Support innovation initiatives e.g improving traceability methods
• Contribute to optimizing and streamlining current program processes
• Complete assigned projects related to program development related to validation activities
• Contribute to system rollover readiness
• Generate standard and ad‑hoc reports

Qualifications: Minimum

• This is an interdisciplinary role; undergraduate pursuing a bachelor’s degree in biology, Accounting, Business, Biomedical, Computer Sciences.
• Other fields would also be considered.
• Basic, effective technical writing and presentation skills.
• Deadline‑based prioritization and task handling.
• Detail‑oriented.
• Ability to see individual components of a bigger picture.
• Preferred Analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Lab testing or research experience.
• Above‑average interest in the life sciences.
• Intermediate‑level experience with Office tools like Excel, Visio, Powerpoint or similar.
• Familiarity with development lifecycles and processes.
• Experience with constructing simple queries for reports.

Estimated Pay Range: Undergraduate students - $23.00 – $25.00/hour *Estimated Starting Pay Range is reflective of the range Bracco Medical Technologies reasonably expects to pay for the position. The range provided is based on compensation and market data specific to the position.
