Job summary

Raytheon in Andover, MA is seeking a Quality Analyst/Engineer I to join the Sensors Operations Quality Team. You will help assure product and process quality with emphasis on compliance, customer satisfaction and continuous improvement, working onsite.

Responsibilities include inspecting hardware to MDP/TDP requirements and presenting products to DCMA for acceptance, baselining factory metrics, driving APQP initiatives, engaging defect prevention teams, and leading process improvement to reduce

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field related to manufacturing.
• Experience in manufacturing processes (assembly, inspection, test).
• Experience with Microsoft Office tools.
• Ability to obtain and maintain DoD security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Inspect hardware assemblies to MDP/TDP and present for DCMA acceptance.
• Baseline factory metrics (Scrap, Rework, FPY) and forecast top drivers.
• Engage DPT teams to align on priorities and implement corrective actions.
• Perform process walks and lead discussions to reduce variation.
• Lead APQP initiatives (PFMEA, control plans, SPC) using baseline metrics.
• Identify supplier escapes and coordinate containment with SQM.
• Verify improvements to assess effectiveness.
