Job summary

Leidos in Huntsville, Alabama, is seeking a qualified Quality Analyst to join our Defense Systems Sector. You will contribute to quality processes, non-conforming material handling, and root-cause analysis within a multidisciplinary engineering team.

Leidos’ Defense Systems Sector is seeking a talented Quality Analyst to join a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex problems. With offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber and commercial fields, Leidos provides responsive, cost-effective engineering, Prototyping, scientific and IT solutions.

Leidos is involved in multiple contracts to provide hardware and systems for high energy weapons, launchers, Hypersonics, and target surrogates for several DoD customers.

Basic Qualifications.

• Candidate must possess a High School Diploma/GED with a minimum of (3) years of experience inan ISO9001/AS9100 system or equivalent experience in DOD, Aerospace, or Automotive manufacturing quality control.
• Candidate must have experience working with non-conforming material & identifying root cause and implementing corrective action.
• Must have experience writing work instructions, procedures, and implementing QMS documentation associated with AS9100.
• Candidate must have experience preparing AS9102 FAI’s and PPAP documentation.
• Experience using Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBi, & Outlook) is preferred.
• Candidate must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.
• Must have demonstrated experience effectively communicating within a team environment.
• The position requires candidates to be capable of performing in a collaborative engineering environment working closely with multi-disciplinary teams.
• Candidates must be a resident of North Alabama or willing to relocate to the area.

Preferred Qualifications.

• Experience with various Windows applications
• Experience with PowerBi
• Experience with GD&T Blue Print Reading
• Experience working with CMMs and manual measuring instruments
• Experience working in cross functional teams
• Experience with CNC Machining

Security Requirements

Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance or meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.

Pay Range

Pay Range $40,300.00 - $72,850.00
