Job summary

Trellis Strategies seeks a Research Specialist to support multiple initiatives by conducting qualitative research, administering surveys, interviewing participants, and focus groups. You will prepare reports for clients, code transcripts, and ensure data quality with strong attention to detail.

You will work with MS Excel and other tools to create dashboards, manage data, and contribute to communication efforts across audiences, including social media outreach.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or social sciences, or related area.
• Graduate degree preferred.
• Experience with student success research or social science research.

Responsibilities

• Lead qualitative research projects including surveys, focus groups, and interviews.
• Draft reports on best practices for postsecondary education and workforce development.
• Develop data management techniques and present data clearly.
• Build tables in MS Excel and perform data cleaning.
• Use AI tools to support transcription and coding with professional judgment.
