This role plays a critical part in developing and implementing treatment plans, advocating for client needs, and supporting recovery and stability in community-based settings.

Duties

• Provide therapeutic interventions through counseling and skill-building sessions (individual and group).
• Coordinate with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support treatment goals.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a human services field such as Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related discipline.
• Licensure: Must meet QMHP eligibility requirements per state guidelines (e.g., verified experience and appropriate degree, CANS and/or ANSA). Nurturing Parenting Program Facilitator Training (NPP)
• Experience: Prior experience working with individuals with mental illness, substance use disorders, or co-occurring conditions preferred.
• Skills:
• Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Cultural competency and sensitivity to diverse populations.
• Other: Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation may be required depending on the service area.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree with clinical licensure (e.g., LPC, LCSW, LMFT) or working toward licensure.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus.
• Community-based, outpatient clinic, or home-based setting.
• May involve travel to client homes or community sites.
• Flexible schedule may be required, including evenings or weekends.
