Job summary

Estelle’s Professional Community Services (EPCS) is seeking a qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) to join our Mental Health Skill-Building Services (MHSS) team in the Norfolk area. This is an independent contractor (1099) role delivering goal-directed mental health skill-building services in community settings.

You’ll work with adults to develop skills for stability and independence, based on each individual’s ISP, and handle intake, documentation, and progress monitoring.

Qualifications

• A minimum of a bachelor’s degree.
• Appropriate registration with the Board.
• A combination of work, training, or experience providing collaborative behavioral health services to youth or adults.
• Ability to maintain required professional qualifications and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide face-to-face, community-based mental health skill-building services
• Help individuals develop skills that support stability, daily functioning, and independence
• Provide goal-directed training and interventions identified in the ISP
• Support individuals in working toward their personal goals
• Monitor progress and adjust your approach based on individual needs
• Maintain accurate and timely client records
• Complete required intake and service documentation
• Ensure required signatures and documentation are obtained
• Follow EPCS policies and applicable DMAS and DBHDS requirements
• Manage assigned responsibilities independently and professionally

Estelle’s Professional Community Services (EPCS) is growing, and we’re looking for a compassionate, dependable, and motivatedQualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP)to join our Mental Health Skill-Building Services (MHSS) team.

This is a community-based role where you’ll work directly with individuals to strengthen everyday skills, increase stability, work toward personal goals, and build greater independence.

What You’ll Do

As a QMHP with EPCS, you’ll provide goal-directed Mental Health Skill-Building Services based on each individual’s needs and Individualized Service Plan (ISP).

You’ll:

• Provide face-to-face, community-based mental health skill-building services
• Help individuals develop skills that support stability, daily functioning, and independence
