Qualifications

• Virginia QMHP eligibility required; relevant degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or related field.
• Experience providing direct mental health services in clinical or community settings.
• Knowledge of DSM-5 and evidence-based treatments.
• Strong documentation and case management skills.
• Ability to conduct mental health skill-building sessions and service plans.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and crisis intervention skills.
• Active QMHP certification (QMHP-Trainee acceptable).

Responsibilities

• Provide direct therapeutic services and crisis intervention to clients
• Monitor and document client progress, updating care plans as clinically appropriate
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, case managers, and community resources to coordinate client care
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with state and agency standards
• Facilitate individual and/or group sessions using evidence-based practices
• Participate in staff meetings, clinical supervision, and ongoing professional development
