Job summary

Behavioral Health Services of Virginia seeks QMHPs and QMHP Trainees to join our Richmond-based, Central Virginia behavioral health team. You will play a critical role in delivering community-based mental health services with strong supervision and collaboration.

You will manage a caseload through MHSS and IIH services, serving children, adolescents, and adults in community settings while maintaining timely documentation and partnering with families, schools, and community partners.

Qualifications

• Must be QMHP or QMHP T certified or eligible under Virginia DBHDS guidelines.
• Minimum of one year of mental health experience (community-based).
• Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills.
• Self-motivated and committed to client success.
• Passion for supporting individuals with mental health needs.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of clients receiving community-based services.
• Provide Mental Health Skill Building (MHSS) and Intensive In-Home (IIH) services.
• Serve children, adolescents, and adults in the community.
• Complete documentation within 24 hours.
• Collaborate with families, schools, and community partners.
• Participate in weekly supervision and team support.
