Job summary

Gifted Enterprises is seeking a QMHP to support clients facing mental health challenges. You will deliver skill-building services, promote psychosocial functioning, and work under licensed professionals to implement individualized plans in community and clinic settings.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, document progress, and participate in treatment plans. Valid Virginia driver's license and sufficient supervised hours are required; travel may be needed for community-based

Qualifications

• 1,500 hours supervised experience in a human services field; or 3,000 hours supervised experience in a non-related field; or QMHP registration through the Virginia Board of Counseling.
• Valid Virginia driver's license and reliable transportation for community-based services.

Position Overview

As a QMHP with Gifted Enterprises, you’ll play an essential supportive and rehabilitative role—delivering skill-building services and promoting psychosocial functioning for clients facing mental health challenges. You’ll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team under the supervision of licensed professionals to implement individualized plans and enhance our clients’ independence.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement mental health skill-building services: daily living, problem-solving, community resource use, medication support, etc.
• Facilitate psychoeducation and behavior modeling to foster client well-being .
• Support treatment plan implementation under licensed supervision.
• Maintain communication with the treatment team regarding client progress and needs

Required Qualifications

• In a human services–related field (e.g. psychology, social work, counseling), with 1,500 hours supervised experience; or
• In a non-related field, plus 3,000 hours supervised experience; or
• Registration as a QMHP through the Virginia Board of Counseling
• Valid Virginia driver's license—this role requires reliable transportation for community-based services
