Job summary

Reflections Retirement Community at Green Oaks of Valparaiso in Valparaiso, IN is seeking a Part Time Qualified Medication Aide (QMA) to support our residents with compassionate, person-centered care.

You will follow each resident’s care plan, report health changes to the clinical team, and engage with residents and their families to create a positive, respectful living environment while upholding privacy and dignity.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Indiana QMA certification is required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to serve with love, compassion and dignity.

Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized care per resident care plans.
• Report changes in resident health status to the clinical team.
• Engage with residents and families with compassion.
• Participate in seminars, staff meetings, and learning experiences.
• Maintain confidentiality and privacy of resident information.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.

Salary Range: $21.00 - $21.00Hourly

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional and individualized care as determined by each resident’s care plan
• Report changes in resident health status to the clinical team
• Connect with residents and family members in a compassionate and impactful manner, creating a lasting and positive experience
• Engage in continuous learning and development opportunities through attendance and participation in educational seminars, staff meetings, and other learning experiences
• Comply with all rules and regulations regarding confidentiality and privacy of resident information
• Perform any other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent required
• Must hold certification indicating successful completion of Qualified Medication Aide (QMA) program in the State of Indiana
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Must demonstrate the ability to serve with love, compassion, and dignity
