Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking a PRN Qualified Medication Aide to join our team at Miami Correctional Facility located in Bunker Hill, Indiana. The QMA works under the direction of a Registered Nurse and/or other medical staff and is responsible for assisting nurses by following written and/or oral instructions to administer medications and document drug dosages and times of administration.

Qualifications

• Must have Qualified Medication Aide (QMA) certification.
• Must have CPR certification.
• 1 year of experience in acute care, long-term care, emergency, or correctional environment preferred.
• Availability for PRN shifts.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and document dosages and times of administration.
• Take vital signs, assist in examinations and treatments, and assist patients with activities of daily living.
• Monitor patients and report changes in their condition.
• Work under the direction of a Registered Nurse and/or other medical staff.
