Job summary

Arisa Health, Inc. seeks a Qualified Behavioral Health Provider (Onsite Research Assistant) to support a PCORI-funded study at a community clinic. You will assist with recruitment, enrollment, data collection, and documentation under Johns Hopkins supervision, ensuring protocol compliance.

The role is full-time and onsite in Arkansas, with regular hours Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Ideal candidates have a relevant degree and experience in clinical research or community settings.

Job description

Arisa Health is seeking candidates to fill a Qualified Behavioral Health Provider (Onsite Research Assistant) position. The Research Assistant will support implementation of a PCORI-funded research study at a community-based clinic, that is overseen and monitored by a research team at the Johns Hopkins University. Under the direction of the Site Research Coordinator, the Research Assistant will assist with participant recruitment, enrollment, data collection, study documentation, and follow-up activities. This position will work closely with patients, clinic staff, and the research team to ensure study procedures are carried out accurately, respectfully, and in accordance with standardized and approved research protocols.

Arisa provides outpatient services, Crisis services and emergency screening, substance abuse counseling, intensive children services, intensive adult services, medical services, and residential services in 41 Arkansas counties.

This position is classified as full-time, exempt.

Work hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. This is a on-site position located in Arkansas.

What we look for in a Research Assistant:

• Bachelor's degree in human services, behavioral services, or related field is required
• Comfortable interacting with diverse patient populations in a clinical and community-based setting
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• The ability to work effectively independently and with team members
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.

Preferred experience:

• Prior experience in clinical research, community-based research, healthcare, or social services
• Recruiting or working with participants in a clinic or community setting
• Familiarity with REDCap or other electronic data capture systems
• Knowledge of human subjections protections and informed consent procedures
• Experience working with underserved or historically underrepresented populations.
