What You’ll Do
The Qualification Engineer I executes formal electrical, mechanical, and environmental qualification of new products, materials, and devices under senior-level supervision. This is a hands-on lab role: you will spend meaningful time on the bench setting up fixtures, instrumenting test articles, and operating environmental chambers, vibration systems, cyclers, and EMC equipment. You will also collaborate with internal design teams, program management, and external test labs to establish requirements, author test procedures, participate in design reviews, and generate formal qualification reports suitable for customer and regulatory audit.
We are open to two candidate profiles for this role: an early-career engineer with a technical degree and formative test experience, or an experienced hardware test technician ready to grow into engineering-level ownership of test planning, procedure authorship, and formal reporting. Strong candidates from either background will have a genuine interest in regulatory and standards-driven testing, and the discipline to execute against a written specification.

What You Will Need
What Will Set You Apart (Preferred Qualifications)
Prior experience executing formal regulatory or compliance testing is the single strongest differentiator for this role. What we care about is that you have worked in a structured, requirements-driven test environment where procedures, deviations, and results must withstand external scrutiny. Experience with any of the following standards families is highly valued:
Growth Path
This position has a clearly defined progression to Qualification Engineer II, with mentorship on regulatory ownership, cross-functional test program leadership, and formal customer-facing qualification reporting. We are actively investing in our test lab capability — including facility expansion, new test capability build-out, and modern automation tooling — and this role will play a direct part in that growth.
