Job summary

SAIC is seeking an experienced dimensional inspector in Houston to perform critical measurements on flight support hardware. The role requires proficiency with CMMs, GD&T, and PC-DMIS, along with familiarity in NASA drawing systems and inspection of various hand tools.

Ideal candidates will have an AA degree with 6+ years or a high school diploma with 8+ years of relevant experience and related certification. U.S. citizenship and NASA experience are mandatory.

Qualifications

AA degree in related discipline with 6+ years of related experience, or high school with 8+ years of related experience and relevant certification.
NASA experience is required and US citizenship is mandatory.

Responsibilities

Perform critical dimensional inspections using Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
Utilize PC-DMIS software and manual inspection tools to verify flight support hardware tolerances and interfaces.

Job description

Preform critical dimensional inspections using the Coordinate Measuring Machine, Geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T), Hexagon metrology PC-DMIS software. Additionally, proficient with manual inspection tools, optical comparators, and height gages and various hand tools for the inspection of flight support hardware.

Worked in the NASA drawing systems

Required Education

AA Degree in related discipline and six (6) years or more of related experience; Or, High School and eight (8) years of related experience with relevant certification
