Job Summary
TravelCenters of America provides a convenient, one-stop shopping experience with diverse dining options. The Cook is a key team member responsible for preparing and presenting quality food to guests, ensuring travelers leave better than they arrived.

In this role, you can expect to:

• Work in a fun, trusting environment focused on excellent customer service
• Perform prep tasks such as washing, chopping, and sorting ingredients
• Operate grill, fryer, and broiler stations according to line check sheets, preparing products to guest specifications and following presentation guides
• Complete prep, freezer pull, and temperature checklist sheets
• Practice safe food handling, storage, waste control, and follow safety guidelines, reporting unsafe situations
• Maintain equipment according to standards
• Prioritize tasks based on restaurant and guest needs
• Build strong communication and rapport with leaders and co-workers
• Perform other duties as assigned
